Pay As You Go DVD rental gives you the flexibility to pay for films as you watch them. With no contracts or monthly bills this is an excellent option if you don't have the time to watch films every day.

It's perhaps no surprise that Pay As You Go DVD rental is proving popular with UK customers as it's a similiar method to how we rent films on the high street except that your films are delivered to your postbox. It is also alot cheaper with prices starting from just £1.99 per rental.

Lovefilm Pay As You Go

Lovefilm Pay As You Go (PAYG) works by letting you buy DVD credits in advance which last 3 months. When you want to watch a movie you just log into their site and use your credit to order the movie you want. Postage is free both ways and you should get your movie delivered to your door within two days.

Lovefilm currently offer two types of PAYG DVD rental packages which are Auto Top-Up and Non-Auto Top Up:

Auto Top Up means that when you have used all your rental credits or after 6 months (whichever is earlier) you will automatically be rebilled. This works out the cheapest as you save you over 15% per DVD rental compared to Standard plans.

Non-Auto Top-Up Standard plans expire after you have used all rental credits or after 6 months (whichever is earlier) without being rebilled. If you continue to hold any DVDs after your credits have expired (6 months from purchase) you will automatically be charged for a new batch of credits at your current package rate.

Instant Movies

Lovefilm's PAYG service gives you full access to their huge library of over 65000 DVD and Blue-ray titles and now comes with free access to over 2000 films which you can watch instantly online for all unlimited DVD PAYG rental packages.
